Does anyone have the subtitles for Katen no Shiro (2009) with Nishida Toshiyuki? The DVD has a Japanese Subtitle tract, but my OCR does not seem to be able to handle anything other that romaji.

i like miike simply for his sheer filmmaking geniality. I saw almost every movie that miike did, and i like almost all of them, only one or two miike movies that i saw that didn't fancy me.

What attracts me in him, is that he can direct almost any genre, and they are always good. I also like his bizarre vein, but that is not the main reason for me to consider miike the best director today, coz i also like movies made by him that are more "normal".

The first movie i saw of miike was audition, then i saw ichi the killer and visitor Q and man i was hooked, after that i tried to find every movie that he directed, and like i said, he rarely disapointed me.

It's almost impossible for me to choose a favorite Miike movie, coz they are many, but i can say that recently i saw Crows Zero II and man it blow me away, was like i was watching a live manga, very cool movie.

there you go, i think that word sums up miike.

Miike is cool, he does the scenes with such style that i love that about him, he's like tarantino but better

Hi all, I am doing a University report into the fandom of Miike, and it would be really helpful if you are a Miike fan if you could explain exactly what attracts you to his movies. Are you interested in a movie regardless of its plot and simply because it was directed by Miike? How did you first get into his movies? Are there particular Miike movies that you like the most - why is this? How seriously do you follow Miike, for example have you ever tried to contact him, or would you dress up as one of his characters for a fancy dress party or anything like that? If you do want to answer these questions please could you go further then saying that he isnt "mainstream" or is "different to Hollywood" as this doesnt really tell me anything - maybe you could explain what type of films you dont like and how Miike's movies differ to these.

Please dont reply to this if you arnt a Miike fan, this isnt really about why people dont like him!

I disagree, community isn't dead. Only most people in Europe/US stopped using the eDonkey network and in Asia it never was that popular anyways. Simple reason is that it has become too risky.

Using jDownloader still is pretty safe, so nowadays filehosters are the way to download things at the moment.

I still like this board here a lot, though. And since movies who don't have a publisher and no copyright holder in one's place are pretty safe to download even with eMule I'll continue to use it for such movies only - as long as possible.

It is with my deepest sadness to anounce that my friend I considered Andy to be my brother has passed away on 12th of dec 2009
After so meny years of struggeling with his diabetes he went into cardiac arrest and they couldnt do much further to save him
I was pretty schocked had been crying for a few days untill I could realise it was the reality.
We have known each other for 4 years ...
He was the soul had a big heart the kindest man Iv ever met ...
always wanted to share movies covers an incredible kind man
I sure will miss him watery eyes again
Everyone who knew Andy known what Im talking about
My condolencesto his wife Sandra and his family
R.I.P. Andy ....

I'm still waiting for subtitles for another IND releases like Season of Good Rain. I think we will get the subs from the official DVD release in about two months (hopefully).

Hi all,

As you can see, I am a newbie in ACF. The situation is that, I tried to find the movie Just Friends?(2009) for quite a while and only recently managed to download it through ed2k link as my network locks torrent method. But to my horror there is no subtitle in it . I tried to search on kloofy and other subtitle sites but cannot find it , and in the search process I came across ACF.
I want to ask if any of you have the subtitle for this movie? any language that can be translate to English by google translate is also really good.
