Hi, I am new to this place, I have never used emule before since I downloaded most of the stuff using Rapidshare or other 1 click hosters as well as torrents (...sucks) and DC++. There was some fuss about Emule and possible GOVT prosecution of downloaders so I never used it.
But there are some rare Asian movies which I really want , and I found them only for ED2K .Can anyone recommend a safe and easy to use ED2K client to me? THX in advance!

Stay far, far away from MLDonkey. It's very hard to install and configure and its share policies are bad for the community. Users claim it isn't a leech client, but its lack of an upload queue and continuing suspicions that it favors connecting to other MLDonkey clients for upload means that you won't be helping to share the love with other members of ACF.

I don't know about your local laws, law enforcement, or ISP, but eMule works fine for me, and can't be beat for ease. Be sure to use a firewall, PeerGuardian 2, and keep your server list up to date. Also, some ISPs will close ED2K ports, so consider setting custom ports and switching them around sometimes.

Easy to use, sounds like EmulePlus would be the client of choice.
It depends on what you're going to do though.
Release, share, leech, a little bit of each...
